Waikamoi incorporates plants that are native to a specific area on Haleakala that the rainforest meets pastureland, and the rain from that area flows all the way down the maintain to the ocean. Plants include, Kalo, Kukui, ʻUlu, and Lauaʻe leaves.
The “Hawaiian Island Camo” design has a lot of meaning behind it. It represents all the islands standing together and lifting each other up, just like we should all be doing in our daily lives. By wearing this product you are representing Hawai'i, and it is your kuleana (responsibility) to represent the culture of aloha and good stewardship.
We have a motto in Hawai'i, “Ua Mau ke Ea o ka ‘Āina i ka Pono”, which means the ‘life of the land is perpetuated in righteousness’.
